Information we collect
When you contact LippsPhoto, request equipment, complete rental paperwork, approve an estimate, make a payment, or otherwise use the site, you may provide your name, company, email address, telephone number, project details, dates, locations, billing information, mailing address, electronic signature, insurance certificate, tax or resale information, and payment-related references.
The web server may also record limited technical information such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, and date and time for security, troubleshooting, and basic operations. Essential session cookies are used for site security and administrative sign-in.
Analytics
When enabled on the live website, Google Analytics provides aggregate information about visits, traffic sources, devices, and important actions such as submitted inquiries. This information helps LippsPhoto understand how the website is used and improve its content. Google maintains its own privacy and data-retention practices, and browser privacy controls may limit this measurement.
Payments, cards, and bank transfers
Card payments and card-on-file authorizations are handled by Square. Optional ACH bank payments are verified through Square's payment tools and Plaid. LippsPhoto does not receive or store complete card numbers, security codes, bank login credentials, or full bank-account numbers. The site stores transaction references, payment status, and limited masked card details when needed to administer an authorized transaction.
How information is used
Information is used to answer inquiries, evaluate availability, prepare and administer estimates and invoices, manage projects and equipment rentals, review insurance documentation, obtain agreement signatures, send transactional email, process or document payments, resolve disputes or damage claims, maintain accounting records, protect the site, and meet legal or business obligations.
When information is shared
Information may be shared with service providers only as needed to operate the business and complete your transaction. These providers include website hosting, Square for payments and card storage, Plaid for optional bank-account verification within Square's ACH flow, and Resend for transactional email. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect legal rights or safety, or as part of a business reorganization. Service providers maintain their own privacy and security practices.
Retention and security
Records are retained for as long as reasonably needed for project administration, rental history, payment and accounting obligations, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and legitimate business records. LippsPhoto uses administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information involved, but no website or electronic storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
You may ask to review, correct, or delete personal information held by LippsPhoto, subject to legal, accounting, contractual, fraud-prevention, and record-retention requirements. You may also ask questions about how information is handled.
Children
This business website is intended for clients and production professionals and is not directed to children under 13. LippsPhoto does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through this site.
